ABOUT THE PRESENTATION

Comedy about infidelity, in which lies are like a race. The author of the conversational play is one of the greatest talents of contemporary French dramatists, Florian Zeller.

The world premiere in 2011 at the Théâtre Montparnasse in Paris kicked off her internationally successful tour. Spectators could already meet her in a number of Czech theaters, in Pilsen this year for the first time. The hero of Zeller's comedy, Michel, enters the game as a person who simply has to lie. How else to deal with a situation in which he has been cheating on his wife with his best friend's wife for six months. He considers lying to all sides not only his duty, but above all a sign of consideration. Why hurt people we really care about? Michel is convinced that he is always one step ahead and that he knows more than others. And he is not at all prepared for the possibility that the tables might turn and the events surrounding the infidelity take an unexpected turn.
