ALFA THEATRE

The long and glorious tradition of puppet belong to Pilsen as the popular golden brew. Looking back into the past, not forgetting the names of famous puppeteers Charles Novak, Joseph Skupy and Jiri Trnka, which is just west bohemian metropolis associate. Alfa Theatre builds on this tradition of puppetry and follows the first professional puppet theater in the former Czechoslovakia - Pilsen puppet theater professor Skupy well as the Children's Theatre, which since 1966 worked in a historic building on today's American Alfa class. Today Alfa Theatre offers its performances audiences of all generations. A wide range begins at classic fairy tales and ends with the poetry of Jacques Prévert. Fifteen members of the ensemble prefers comedy theater concept, which brings an unusual way home and foreign soil.

The theater box office will be closed from Monday, December 22, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026 (Christmas holidays).

Dear audience!
Due to illness in the ensemble, we have to change the performance on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Instead of the originally announced fairy tale "Salt Above Gold," we will perform "A Fairy Tale in the Palm of Your Hand."
Your tickets remain valid.
