Theatre of JK Tyl is the main theater in Pilsen region and an important cultural center of Pilsen. It has three scenes, JK Tyl Theatre, New Theatre and small scene (in the building of the New Theatre). Art Nouveau theater belongs to important cultural monument of the city. The building of the JK Tyl Theatre was built in 1902 and belongs to important cultural monument of the city. Its designer was the architect Antonin Balšánek (eg. The author of the Municipal House in Prague), author of Curtain is one of the most important Czech painters of the 19th and 20th century Augustin Němejc.
