The Great Synagogue in Pilsen - WITH A VISIT TO THE TOWER
The Great Synagogue in Pilsen has reopened to the public after three years of extensive reconstruction. The largest synagogue in the Czech Republic, the second largest in Europe and one of the five largest in the world, it is built in a pseudo-Romanesque style with Moorish elements. During the guided tour, you will learn about the construction and reconstruction of the synagogue, as well as the history of the Jewish community in Pilsen, and you will also see the new permanent exhibition Here the Jews Lived.

ABOUT THE TOUR
The Great Synagogue in Pilsen has reopened to the public after three years of extensive reconstruction. The largest synagogue in the Czech Republic, the second largest in Europe and one of the five largest in the world, it is built in a pseudo-Romanesque style with Moorish elements. During the guided tour, you will learn about the construction and reconstruction of the synagogue, as well as the history of the Jewish community in Pilsen, and you will also see the new permanent exhibition Here the Jews Lived.
Tour participants must arrive no later than 5 minutes before the tour at the main entrance to the synagogue, where the tour guide will pick them up.
