ABOUT THE EVENT
Ballet fairy-tale based on E. T. A. Hoffmann’s story A Christmas story and a dream about Prince Nutcracker and the Mice comes to life in our theatre at the time of the most festive time of the year. The new adaptation of the well-known classical ballet will celebrate the 130th anniversary since its first staging in the St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theatre.
Little Klára is celebrating Christmas by visiting a theatre performance where, fascinated by the magic of the story, she becomes a part of it. She enters an imaginary world full of dreams-come-true, becomes a dancer, and together with her dream partner Nutcracker she is learning about affection and love. Nutcracker is a show for all audiences seeking harmony, and not just during the Christmas time, who wish to share the feeling of fulfilled dreams and hopes with the others, at least for a moment.
